As LDAF is revised, new awards will be known as "Learning Disability Qualifications" (LDQs). Information about LDQs can therefore be found on this website too.
Guidance about the change from LDAF to LDQ can be found in the joint Valuing People, Skills for Care document at the bottom of this page. (An easy-read version of this document also exists but it too large to add to the website. Use the Contact Us section to request a copy which can be emailed out to you.)

NEW LEARNING DISABILITY KNOWLEDGE SETS LAUNCHED BY SKILLS FOR CARE (May 2008)
Skills for Care have launched 5 new Knowledge Sets for people working in learning disability services. These can be found on the Skills for Care website by following the link below.

Click onto the 'What's New' section for LDQ Induction Award Units at Levels 2 and 3. From there you can downloiad the units as well as mappings to NVQ.
